Microfiction Monday #69

Susan at Stony River challenges us to construct a story/poem around this picture prompt, but in no more than 140 characters.

"Officer - have you seen my Caddoc? Wrinkly. Silly brown hat. I should have met him at 2."
"We lifted him at half past, Mrs.T. For loitering"

(140 characters . . I hope)

  8. I'm with Jabblog. The poor devoted man was probably there early so as not to be late for his Beloved, thus compounding the offence. But on second thoughts . . . suppose Mrs.T had turned up on time? The pair of them could have been done for soliciting - at their age! Oooerrr!

  10. Assignations under a clock? What have I walked into here? But thinking about it - could a legally married couple be done for soliciting? I think not, Doctor FTSE...

Cad - you'd better buy the missus a mobile phone, so's you can gee her up for your next rendezvous if she shilly shallys again. Make sure it has a programmable alarm!
